Where do the herbs used to make the Pigeon Health Center® products come from?
Some of the plants used in production come from European countries. However, some herbs used in Pigeon Health Center® products are not native to our climate, such as Phyllanthus emblica, a component of IMMUNO-VET, native to Southeast Asia. The fruits of this plant exhibit strong antiviral and antibacterial properties and have been used for centuries in Indian traditional medicine – Ayurveda. Another example is the herb Eclipta alba (commonly known as Bhringraj), a component of MYCO-VET, native to India. It is characterized by liver-cleansing properties, among others. Bhringraj contains bioactive compounds such as ecliptin, wedelolactone, coumestans, polypeptides, and others. It is known in traditional Ayurveda as a promoter of longevity and rejuvenation, thanks to its high antioxidant content.
Can Pigeon Health Center® products be combined?
Yes. There are no interactions between the different active ingredients in the products. However, please note that certain combinations may reduce the effectiveness of some ingredients. Here are a few rules: Do not combine PROB-VET MAX (a probiotic containing live bacteria cultures) with HYDRODIAR-VET or CANDI-VET. SAL-VET and COL-VET should not be combined with acidifiers or products containing vitamin C, chlorine, or iodine.
Can SAL-VET and COL-VET products be combined in one watering?
Absolutely. Pigeon Health Center® specialists recommend using these products together.
Is it necessary to follow the manufacturer's suggested application programs for Pigeon Health Center® products?
If your plan is to build your pigeons’ fitness year-round to achieve the best results during the racing season, it’s definitely worth it. Furthermore, you’ll benefit from the experience and knowledge of top specialists in avian health care and renowned pigeon breeders. You can try your own methods of using PHC products or take advantage of effective solutions and proven programs provided by the manufacturer in the PHC catalog.
I breed ornamental pigeons. Are Pigeon Health Center® products suitable for my birds?
Absolutely! The products are also well-balanced for fancy pigeons. You can skip the products typically used for racing, such as SPRINT-VET and ENERGY CAPS-VET. If you have any questions about how to use the products, please contact us. We’ll be happy to advise you.
Why is it necessary to use demineralized (distilled) water when administering SILVECO+ Pigeon?
Minerals found in drinking water reduce the effectiveness of the active ingredients in this product. Therefore, it is crucial to use demineralized (distilled) water.
